Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Passaic County runs the Environmental Steward Program at Captain Michael Kilroy Memorial Park, 6 Concord Place, Wayne, NJ. Classes run on Tuesday evenings from 4- 7pm, starting January 28th through May.

In addition to the core topic areas, the Passaic County program focuses on environmental justice issues, issues facing communities in northeaster New Jersey, and along the Lower Passaic River. Partnering organizations include Clean Water Action, Ironbound Community Corporation, NJ Environmental Justice Alliance, and the New Weis Center for Arts, Education, and Recreation.
