Morris Land Conservancy is accepting resumes for a
Summer Internship.
Resume s are due by June 15, 2007.
DESCRIPTION: Intern will assist with completion of grant applications for land acquisition. Work will take place in the office, with limited fieldwork. Intern will also assist with completion of Open Space and Farmland Plans.
RESPONSIBLITIES: Topic research, writing, mapping, telephone interviews.
EXPERIENCE: Students of environmental studies, public administration, government, policy, planning, and land use.
BENEFITS: Paid position, flexible hours, professional experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Organized and clear writing skills, independent. Must be able to provide own transportation and housing.
Morris Land Conservancy is a non-profit member supported organization that has been preserving open space land and protecting water resources in northern New Jersey for 25 years. Our mission is accomplished through three major programs: Preservation, Stewardship and Education. The Conservancy has helped preserve more than 11,000 acres of land in the past ten years alone. We are currently working on over 200 projects in seven counties throughout the northern part of the state.
